Walking the talk of Living your Passion

Inner Peace, Global Peace
This program is based on the understanding if we want to live in a peaceful world we must begin by creating peace in our own minds, hearts, and in all our relationships. It aims to create conscious community through experiential learning, group sharing and dialogue. Sessions include relaxation, practicing presence and inner awareness; experiential pair work; inspiration from contemporary spiritual teachers such as Eckhart Tolle, Pema Chodron, Ram Dass; methods such as nonviolent compassionate communication, self inquiry and deep ecology; and global meditations for peace.

Conscious Relationship and Compassionate Communication
No matter how well intentioned we are, most of us have difficulty negotiating differences, clearly stating our needs, being nonjudgmental of self and others, and keeping intimate relationships alive and well. Much of our difficulty is rooted in subtle conditioning, language, attitudes and thinking, which are part of an old paradigm "dominator" model, most likely to surface when we are stressed. In this program we explore how relationship can be our greatest teachers on the spiritual path, and practice skills of nonviolent compassionate communication.
THE GLASS HALF FULL: exploring the magic of being abundant in tough times.
As the global crisis deepens and old ways of living no longer work, we may cling to what we have and limit our creativity. This five hour session explores the true meaning of abundance; practical steps we can take to live more sustainably; and how community is our most valuable resource.

The Living Your Passion Café
“Living your Passion: How Love-in-action is seeding a Whole New World”, throws light on our common dilemmas and offers insights, wisdom and practical guidance to anyone seeking to create more soulful livelihood and community.
World Cafe is a friendly style of meeting to explore questions which have meaning for all of us and hold conversations that matter. Small groups focus on questions with the intention of deep listening and thinking co-creatively. The whole group then joins together to connect and share discoveries. This form of meeting is a great community building tool suitable for communities, organizations or businesses wishing to build greater connection, cohesion and creativity or to explore differences in a safe environment.
